Random thoughts
Its been so long since I last blogged on this blog...God's faithfulness has always been true to me, just that I wasn't on task with journalling and jotting down on the good things that He has done.
1. My successful proposal to L. =)
2. Our $1000 Larry voucher.
3. Friends who came forward to help for our preparations for the wedding.
4. Smooth and divine concidences in our wedding preparations.
5. L. finding a job that she likes.
6. Our good-priced wedding package and venue which both of us adored.
7. All expenses paid trip to Phuket by our generous friend.
8. Interior renovations are sponsored by my parents =)
These are just some of the nice things that happened to me during these few months....so much has happened and there are things that I don't remember any more but one thing that I don't want to forget is that God needs to be in my centre of all.
Really I began to see more and more of how without God, everything is meaningless, my work, my ministry, my friends and relationships with others. It only make sense when God is in the picture and that there is an eternity that is birth in the hearts of men including myself, what's the point of building things on earth where things are transicent where you are here and gone in the next moment.
Somehow I have this quiet assurance that my destiny and future is in God's hands and yes though I still complain about waking up at 6am everyday to go for work and all....I see a purpose in what I do and somehow it makes things better, lesser drudgery and pain.
'Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.' Psalm 73:25-26
