Steve Job's Death

Currently this is the biggest news of the moment, though I am not a Mac fan, I loved using the iphone because of the design and functionality of it. Saw one of his speeches he made at Stanford's graduation ceremony, the simplicity but power of his message spoke to me.

Basically his message about connecting dots, love what you are doing and treasure each moment by using death as a tool has almost Christian values despite him being a Buddhist.

'That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.' Romans 8:28 (The Message)

'Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.' Psalm 37:4 (Amplified)

'So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.' Psalm 90:12 (NKJV)

Here is a man who applied powerful biblical truths in his life one way or another though he is not a Christian, he won my admiration in the way he carried himself, he was truly a great man, as I reflected back on my current status, as Christians, we have a better hope, we DO know where we are heading after death and though that thought may be frightening but the love of Christ for me is far greater than my other fears.

Also status update, economy market is really volatile, decided it's time to seek a more regular and steady income while still investing on the sideline, some how I enjoy the trading and investing though I have limited capital for now, I believe that is because the market deals with human psychology at large where fear and greed are the 2 main culprits for creating large volatility.

Really need God's wisdom and guidance, holding onto the verse, 'Delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart'....considering several options, may He open and close doors for me.
