1st Post of 2014

4th of March...3 months flew past once school started, went for my MRI scan of my right knee today at CGH. Really appreciate the help from health-care givers even late into the night where my appointment was scheduled, of course L being in the sector helps me understand more about the working conditions and sacrifices that health-care givers faced in their course of work.

Thank God for His grace, everything was subsidized considering I am under outpatient, this was an unexpected surprise. Trusting God for a good report for my MRI scan, I really want to go back to badminton..

Yesterday was also a day where my recently graduated batch of students came back for their results, thankfully most of them did well by the grace of God and their own hard work. My heart goes out to some of my students who did not do too well and possibly may select a alternative education route. However, I know that if they don't give up and continue to pursue their dreams without feeling the need to conform to someone or take up something they don't like, they will excel in where they are at.
I felt appreciated too when they sent little notes of thanks or smses. Truly this feeling of being able to help and inspire younger minds is great!

It was a bittersweet period for me, seeing my previous batch graduated and moving on with their lives and knowing that for one, his life journey has ended due to an extreme cowardly and despicable thoughtless act. Having taught him for a period of time, I find him well-mannered and polite in class, reserved though full of grit within as I found out through the different witnesses.

Life is fragile, seize each day, live each day, cherish every moment with your loved ones.
