It's been quite awhile since I last update, it has been my practice especially in Dec to reflect on the year that just flew past. Its been a year truly of greater glory. So many things to give thanks for, good health and strength, a good circle of family and friends, good work environment and a deeper understanding of His love and grace.

Recently, my pet just passed on to animal heaven. Though primarily it belongs to L, I also felt pain, pain of losing a loved one. Its also this pain that causes me to reflect more on what's truly important, at times we forget while we are chasing for material gains or fleeting pleasures or momentarily distractions. I had to push aside a friend's wedding because of it. :(

Funny thing is that in the past, I will not think of myself being so 'feeling', perhaps over the years I have also changed. Well, I guess I am still learning about myself and how everything that happen will worketh towards my good in the end, Romans 8:28.

There a few prayer requests (B.F.F) that I am still holding onto, I know my God hears me and I am looking forward to the day where these requests are answered.

'What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?' Romans 8:31

Sea Of Galilee The Sea of Galilee is the catchment basin for the Jordan River and is fed primarily by the melting snow of Mount Hermon in the north. Disciples first or Saints?

In the synoptic gospels the term disciples is used 160 times, John 78, Book of Acts after the church began 28 times. We can see the number of times it is being used is slowly dwinding, the question is why? Not once is it used in the rest of the New Testament after the book of Acts. That is extremely peculiar, why is that? Instead the Church members are called saints, brethren. As the Church developed they had what is called the body of Christ. This meant membership in Christ himself 1 Cor.12:13 . You can follow Christ and be a disciple and not be saved, or, you can be saved and follow which makes you a saint or one of the brethren. T his term "Saint" was first used in the NT when Annaias said Paul did many things evil things to the Saints in Jerusalem Acts 9:13(as when he put the saints in prison and put many to death Acts 26:10) The word Saint shows ones position in Christ, the word disciple shows one is a learner.
