Heart Of Praises

At the start of 2013, Pastor asked the congregation to bring forward 3 specific prayer requests and under the corporate anointing and prayer, we committed these specific prayer requests to God. At this moment in time, 2.5 of my 3 prayer requests have been answered, praise the Lord! 1. Deeper revelation of Jesus Christ and in relationship with Him. Looking back definitely, with the washing of my mind with His word, my understanding of who I am in Him, my faith in Him and my confidence in doing what He has called me to do, all these things are growing deeper and more powerful in my own life. 2. Supernatural health for all my family members in 2013. Not one of them is sick including myself in 2013, Amen! 3. I have included 2 sub requests under the 3rd. One of them is an __-fold restoration and increase in my finances. The second sub-request still pending. =)

What a year it has been! Full of God's unceasing favor and grace, from experiencing my own keys of David from doors that God shut, no one can open to opening doors where no one can shut if God opens. Jesus has also answered our prayers, from rooting ourselves in a good ministry to finding a group of like minded peers who understood and continues to learn more about the amazing grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. More importantly, I understand more and more now about His great love and sacrifice for us, it was never about us, it's all about the Son of Man! From being self-introspective to beholding the image of Christ instead, the liberty and freedom from being self-occupied to being occupied from someone who deserves ALL adoration and praise instead!! To see the fruit of the Holy Spirit more and more not from my own self-efforts but really by the grace of God, since it wasn't sustain by self-efforts, the change is truly from God and He will continue to shape and tran...

After about a month since I injured my knee, I am doing much better now, with full mobility restored and little or almost no more pain in my knee, am trusting God for full restoration even better than before it was injured. Thank God for the speedy recovery! The swelling has went down dramatically after the first few days! Just started serving in Rock Kidz in NCC with L, been an interesting experience dealing with the P1 and P2, didn't know there is understanding and skill needed just to bring the boys to the loo, or to keep them engaged..hats off to primary school teachers! Work-wise has reached the final lap for this year, the students just finished their Prelims, marked their papers, am believing for each of my classes to do exceptionally well for their A-levels, some of them in the natural really looks to be in danger...may God give me the wisdom to deal and help them during this critical phase. Landed wrongly and my legs were straight after receiving a badminton shot, heard a sickening pop and my knees gave way and I crumpled to the floor. About 5 years ago at the same badminton courts, I dislocated my shoulder and had to be sent in an ambulance to the hospital. Thanks be to God that this time round, I can still bend my knee slightly after my fall, I knew that it wasn't a severe dislocated knee joint like my previous incident. On the next day, NCC devotional really stood out to me, especially the highlighted part. In faith I am believing that no surgery is needed to fix my knee, that every ligament damaged will be fully restored without medical means and that my body is made whole, I really want to start my sports again! Periodic review of what happened in my life in 2013, we changed church, finally after a couple of years of wrestling, we decided that to feed on God's Word and grow in the understanding and knowledge of Jesus Christ takes precedence, it wasn't easy having to leave many bonds of friendship and fellowship behind, but both L and myself felt this was necessary so that we can begin a new phase or chapter in our lives. Its already July in 2013, L will be starting her new chapter of work soon in her new workplace, we truly have much to give thanks for. In recent years especially in Singapore where the message of grace has been slowly but surely gaining foothold, how did I gain that perception? In the past if I talked to people about grace, they always said that it is just a license to sin (still do)and shun the topic but nowadays there is a greater emphasis on grace whether through songs or through acceptance. However, there is still an emphasis on works, how can one just talk about grace and not lift a finger to work especially when phrases like 'resting from works' are being mentioned now and then. Interesting, people like to see their part and obedience. I have come to a realisation where I know its truly none of me and all of God that really matters. Before I could collect my thoughts for the start of 2013, its already March, so many things to give thanks for and so many blessings that really my heart is filled with thanksgivings. Firstly, His provision for the new place, how as we look back from the hunting of flats, to the discussion with flat sellers to the selection of contractor and interactions have all been pretty smooth. Truly every time I stepped into my place, I am always reminded of how much He has blessed me.
